One of our favorite car shows each year is Back to the Fifties weekend in St. Paul, Minnesota. Not only it is one of the largest classic car shows in the country, it's a great city and venue to visit each summer. The event was cancelled for 2020 and almost cancelled again this summer, but the city and MSRA directors got together and were able to make Back to the Fifties weekend happen. In fact, the event was tentatively cancelled in April, but after some event restrictions were lifted in May, Back to the Fifties was put back and the calendar. We were glad it was able to take place. We always enjoy seeing our friends in the North each June.
There were still over 10,600 cars in attendance. The fairgrounds were packed on Saturday. There was some rain on Sunday, but that did not put a damper on a fun weekend in the Twin Cities. The event was filled with plenty of classic cars, cruising and of course, cheese curds.
Thank you to our friends at MSRA and all of their volunteers for hosting another great event. We look forward to being back at the show in 2022 for an even bigger and better 48th Annual Back to the Fifties car show.
