Winning Numbers: The First, The Fast, The Famous
The Petersen Museum's latest exhibit, Winning Numbers, showcases a number of historic racing vehicles owned by car collector Bruce Meyer. The exhibit opened last month to rave reviews for its combination of drag racing, hot rod and road racing vehicles that truly encompasses Bruce's love of cars that were meant to be driven...fast.
Whether you are a fan of Bonneville, LeMans or the US Nationals, there is something for all auto enthusiasts on display. Most of the vehicles in the gallery are easily recognizable from old racing videos and magazines. It's like your collection of Hot Rod or Motor Trend magazines came to life. The first Shelby Cobra production car is on display, as well as the So-Cal Speed Shop Belly Tanker and 1965 Iso Bizzarrini.
If you have not visited the Petersen Museum recently, this is an excellent opportunity to see the latest exhibits and enjoy Winning Numbers.
